2010 Juneau County --- Fairest of the Fair

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Represent Juneau County Fair Association at County Fair, parades

& other functions for one year.

·         Serve as official hostess at this year’s Juneau County Fair.

·         Participate in promotion programs and media events.

·         Assist in planning next year’s Fairest of the Fair program.

·         Applicants need to have a strong appreciation for the fair

but is not required to have shown at the fair.

 

ATTRIBUTES

·         Pleasant personality – confident, gracious, outgoing and sensitive.

·         Ability to speak effectively to large or small groups and in various media circumstances.

·         Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of people.

·         Motivated to learn more about the Juneau County Fair.

·         Willingness to maintain a feminine, natural and neat appearance.

 

 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SELECTION PROCESS?

·         This position is open to young women who have been residents of Juneau County

for at least one year prior to entry.

·         Applicants must reach their 18th birthday by January 1, 2011 to be eligible to participate in

the State Fairest of the Fairs selection and no older then 25 years.

·         Applicant agrees that the time, manner and method of judging shall be solely within the discretion of rules and regulations set by the Fairest of the Fair Committee, WI Association of Fairs and the decision of judges shall be final.

·         Applicant agrees that, if she is selected as “Fairest”, she will not sign a management contract with any individual/corporation and that she will not give any written/verbal endorsement or make personal appearances for any mercantile commodity or commercial organization nor will she permit any photographs to be used without written permission of  Fairest of the Fairs Committee.

·         Applicant may be an entrant in only one county/district fair which she considers her “home” fair.  An applicant must reside in the county she represents.  Only exception: She may reside in adjoining county if majority of her activities are in county where she enters.
